What is Smuggler Ike and what can he do?
Smuggler Ike is an assassin in the adventure theme. He has simular stats to the other assassins in the game but can increase his attack stat once every 6 seconds. He is a very fast hitting assassin on par with Princess Kenny and Deckhand Butter. Only Gizmo Ike, Shaman Token, Critters and Sheriff Cartman hits faster than Smuggler Ike.
When to add Smuggler Ike to my deck?
If you lack an assassin Smuggler Ike could definitely be a good option as he has VERY fast attacks compared to other assassins and you can utilize his charged ability for moving slower towards a target or to surprise the opponent with increased attack damage.
If the steps below are not followed I suggest you to consider Dogpoo instead as his playstyle is way more forgiving and easier to use.
How to use Smuggler Ike
Using Smuggler Ike can be difficult but can also give you the upper hand. Here are some tricks!
- You can drop Smuggler Ike as a quick assassin to deal with a card that has low HP.
- You can drop Smuggler Ike in your backline at the far left side of the screen. This gives you time to use his ability by the time he is 3/4 at the opponents NK.
- Do NOT use his ability if you might get hit while he is doing his charged animation!!! This will most likely kill Ike and you get no value for the 2 energy cost. It is not always a good idea to click the abilities right away.
- You should use the ability when there is no danger for Ike being hit. In most cases it is not worth using the ability. This mechanic is something you’ll have to practice. If he is used right, he can carry your game.
- If enemies are smashing your Zen Cartman, the Ike has time to use his ability after the kills. When your Zen dies your Ike will probably have been buffed 1-2 times which could potentially take out the New Kid HP bar in 1 hit.
There is a way to make sure your unit hits first on almost any encounter, check the guide here.

What is Energy Staff and what does it do?
The Energy Staff a stucture card that is immobile once placed. It increases the speed that the player gains energy. The Energy Staff is active for 28 seconds. Increasing it HP does not increase it time on the battlefield or energy gains. Upgrading the Energy Staff only increases the amount of hits it can take. Your energy gains is increased by 45%.
When to add Energy Staff to my deck?
It is a very strategic card and if not used with a plan, it is better left out of your deck. Used in the right hands it is absolutely a game changer as it increases the energy gained, which is the only way to drop more cards and run down the enemy who will have trouble dealing with the pressure.
Usually having Energy Staff pays off if you are trying to stall the enemy and you are waiting for the right hand. If you run Zen Cartman, heals, high HP fighters and assassin or ranged, then Energy Staff might be fitting in your deck. It can be in your advantage if you get the fight on your side of the battlefield in order to utilize the zap damage from your New Kid. Can be swapped for Purify or Power Bind.
How to use Energy Staff
Using Energy Staff can be difficult but can also give you the upper hand. Here are some tricks!
- Once you get 9.5 energy you drop your Energy Staff in the back left corner.
- Drop your slow moving tank behind your New Kid so he tank has to move around the New Kid. Zen Cartman, Awesom-O, Dogpoo or even PC principle are good contestants. If you do not have a tank ready, a long ranged unit can work too. However, the tanks needs to be placed infront of the ranged unit next.
- Once you reach 9.5 energy again, you drop either another slow moving unit or a ranged unit. By this time the opponent New Kid should already have dropped a few units which will aggro your ranged unit. Now build up your frontline and backline slowly.
I’ve made a guide on how much energy return the Energy Staff actually gives. The trick can be to combine it with Hermes Kenny. Please do read the guide here.

What is Pocahontas Randy and what can he do?
Pocahontas Randy is classified as a fighter which has a good amount of HP and an alright attack stat. For his charged ability he can summon a indian kid to fight for you side. It takes 13 seconds to recharge the charged ability. As the other Randy cards, this one has a high cost for its value. While the card is fun to play and he humor is on point, it is a quite difficult card to get value out off and therefore maybe not as good as some of the other fighter options there are in the adventure theme. You essentially want to get as many charged abilities off of him as possible, as for each ability you get to use, your value of the card increases. As the indian kid is a 1 cost card, you could say that each time you use his ability, you get one free energy, if the indian kid gets to hit or tank a hit from an enemy unit.
When to add Pocahontas Randy to my deck?
Early in your South Park: Phone Destroyer carrier, as most epic cards, this one is a very solid card. Later when you climb halfway through the ranks it kinda looses its value unless you are lucky and can upgrade further than your other epic cards. For the top ranks this card does not see much play because the charge timer is too slow and the summoned kids can not compare with the assassin cards. That is why a 2 cost assassin that is well placed and can secure a kill is better spent than using this high cost card. Due to a combination of his high energy cost and long recharge time, this card struggles to picked in any high rank deck.
How to use Pocahontas Randy
Using Pocahontas Randy is for the most part straight forward; however, he can be used statigically. Here are some tips!
- Use his ability just before he gets agro from an enemy card, so that the indian kid is protected by the high health pool of Randy. That way Randy gets in a hit and the indian kid gets to hit aswell.
- Or use his ability on cooldown asap when it is available, which gives the most energy value of the card, so that the indian kid runs forward to tank a hit and maybe gets in a hit aswell if the opponent is a slow hitter.

What is Rogue Token and what can he do?
Rogue Token is an epic fighter in the fantasy theme. He costs 4 energy and has a decent amount HP and a solid attack stat that is almost on par with assassins. Compared to Stan the Great, Rogue Token has about 30% more HP and attack while costing 25% more to summon. His warcry deals a one time Area of Effect (AOE) damage in a circle on your half of the battlefield. A very solid defensive card to have in your deck for a fairly low cost for the outcome.
When to add Rogue Token to my deck?
Each theme have some sort of AOE damage to clear critters, assassins or huge waves or low HP enemies. In most decks you would want some sort of AOE clear when a wave gets too tough to handle for your New Kids zap damage. Fantasy has Rogue Token to handle this job. AOE damage is super important however, running double AOE damage cards in your deck will likely be too heavy on the energy cost and you would want to focus on something else. Rogue Token does a huge amount of AOE damage and leaves a unit on the battlefield which is why he is a very strong card. Compared to Fireball, which is mainly picked to handle a certain amount of meta picks, Rogue Token does less AOE damage but can hit or tank units moving forward.
How to use Rogue Token
Using Rogue Token can easily give you the upper hand if you play it right. Here are some tricks!
- Do not waste it just to get a unit on the field. Rather have a 2-3 cost unit ready for that purpose.
- You want to use it when a huge wave is coming for you.
- When you see you can clear multiple units at once for the 4 cost, you should consider dropping it.
- Play it wisely if you know the opponent has cards on the hand like Rats or other critters and always be certain they do not preparing to drop Dougies.
- Drop it on Dougies! Yes, that’s right, Rogue Token handles the Dougie cards easily and you get to keep a unit on the battlefield.
